About Tie-In Climbing
My Background
I started climbing during my time in university through the mountaineering club and ended up loving it so much that I left my degree to push into the world out outdoor activities.
Since then I have made my fair share of mistakes, learning from each one, working as a paddle sports instructor, a route setter at my local climbing gym and most recently a freelance outdoor climbing instructor and mountain leader.
My Aim
I hope to bring others into my world by showing them the beauty of the landscapes all around us, the ways in which we can protect it and teaching them the lessons I have learned along the way.
I hope to further peoples' own understanding of what is possible when they have a solid foundation to build upon.
My Services
As a qualified rock climbing development instructor, I am able to introduce you to a variety of climbing activities ranging from your first steps in climbing shoes right through to organising your own climbing adventures on cliffs up to one rope length in height.
I have also gained my Summer Mountain Leader qualification, so can lead a variety of mountain hiking adventures along with navigation skills practice if these are of interest.
In the future as I gather more skills, experience and qualifications, I hope to increase the range of activities available even further to sea cliff multi pitch climbing.
